At the start of a new year, many of us are setting goals for the life we want to create. We’re here to share one simple tip that will take your vision board and manifesting to the next level.
A powerful way to keep your goals alive is by using scent as an anchor to help your brain associate those goals with feelings of success, joy, and achievement.
When you smell something, it travels directly to your brain’s limbic system, which controls emotions, memory, and motivation. This is why certain scents can instantly remind you of a moment in your life or evoke strong emotions.
So, the next time you’re visualising the life you’re working towards, apply your favourite oud perfume. As the scent surrounds you, imagine your dream vividly—picture yourself already living it and focus on how it feels.
For example, if your goal is a successful career, visualise yourself thriving in your dream job. See the space around you, hear the sounds, and feel the pride and excitement in your body.
The combination of the rich aroma of oud and the emotions tied to success creates a powerful link in your brain. Over time, your mind will naturally recall those positive emotions and the mindset connected to your goal.
Remember that consistency is key! Repeat this practice daily or several times a week. The more you pair your chosen scent with your visualisation, the stronger the connection becomes.
Let this year be the one where your dreams aren’t just ideas—they become your reality, one intentional breath at a time.
